Plants at home and how they benefit us...
HOW PLANTS HELP OUR MENTAL HEALTH?

Senses are stimulated.
Also the plants will help you to the memory as we said, but, How? Well an example is when you water the plants all mondays you will remeber when was the last time you water it, so this will help you to organize your memory, also watching how plants grow and if they need more sun or a bigger flowerpot.
Having plants at home helps you to have a safer home, because they neutralize electricity and therefore make it easier to avoid any domestic accidents.
Many plants are decorative and for all tastes, as we have already seen, having them at our homes has many advantages. It is important to create sustainable things in our homes, such as self-watering pots (with plastic bottles) and to have more life in our homes to make it a more homey environment.
As a lover of plants and nature, I invite you to consider the pros of having mini gardens at home and how it benefits us in many ways.
Factors to understand our plants well based on my experience:
- Sun
- Humidity
- Water amount
- Flowerpot
- Noise
SUN:
The sun is obviously the most important thing for the growth of the plant. It depends on what type it is, some need more sun and others less, and we must test which place likes the most, one tip is that it will grow faster and have more color.
HUMIDITY:
If the humidity is too low, the growth of the plants will be compromised, since the crops in the face of a lack of water or food reduce their growth, in addition to avoiding the loss of water due to evapotranspiration, the first response to the lack of irrigation is the leaf loss.
WATER AMOUNT:
As a general rule, water your plants up to 5-10% of the pot's capacity. There are multiple ways to tell when it's time to water your plants. For example, you can use a soil moisture sensor.
FLOWERPOT:
One of the key factors for your plants to grow well is the size of the pot, since they grow not only in width, but they must have the adequate depth to absorb the necessary nutrients so that their roots are strong to absorb the best amount.
NOISE:
Noise affects seed dispersal. Scientists in the United States found that noise associated with industrial activities disturbs the behavior of animals that play a key role in pollination and seed dispersal.
Plants do not have ears or ears. However, there are people who talk to plants and even sing to them because, they say, they have the ability to listen and appreciate these stimuli. According to these people, “stimulated” plants are healthier, look better, and produce more beautiful flowers. YES IS TRUE!
WHAT CAN I CHOOSE?
Out of the ground: Tomato, pepper, chili, eggplant.
Creeping: cucumber, melon, pumpkin.
Legumes: broad beans, peas, beans.
Roots: carrot, turnip, beetroot, radish, ginger, potato.
Bulbs: onions, leeks, garlic.
Leaves and stems: spinach, chard, lettuce, parsley, celery, cabbage, basil, aromatic, culinary and medicinal herbs
WHAT TYPE OF GARDEN?
Prefer the one that suits the resources you have at home or the one that is easiest to get and has a low environmental impact. The essential thing is that the container has holes for the water to drain.
Growing beds: If you have a garden, it can be adapted by preparing the soil for planting and using ecological materials such as reeds or wood to delimit the planting space.
Farm Crate: Can be built from scrap wood on a flat surface.
Crop table: Same as the drawers, but raised with legs. They are preferred by people with reduced mobility. The cane is ideal for this option, as it is a lighter material.
Vertical: They adapt to small spaces. Recycled plastic cans and bottles, PVC pipe waste, reeds or pallets can be used. They can be stuck on a wall or hanging.
In pots: They can be cans, bottles, tires, buckets, pots, tubs, drawers.
Now that you know what to do, you can create something of your own and make it beautiful, ENJOY!
Excellent!
